There are some different reasons why this could happen and here we provide you some steps in order to solve this.
1. Check if the DirectX Media on the student side is correctly installed.
2. You can use Windows Media Player to open a MPEG file.
*Check if the teacher’s and the student’s computers have installed other player software, if so, please uninstall such players.
3. Prohibit or remove the sound card on the student’s computer and try “Net Movie” again.
*If you can play the file normally then check whether the sound card on the student’s computer is installed correctly or not.
4. You can also reinstall the sound card or change the sound card driver.
